Come September 2011, Shorecrest High School will be fifty years old! (In fact, that is the impetus for the formation of the Shorecrest High School Alumni group whose website you now see.) An on-campus celebration is in the works, scheduled for Saturday, September 10, 2011.
Did you know that Shorecrest is being remodeled? Construction (and de-construction) begin this summer. (A field of portables is already in place for next year.) Alumni and former staff will have the opportunity to visit the school before it changes radically (from one story to three) at the September birthday party. It'll be a great chance to go down Memory Lane, and perhaps share a story or two!
We're hoping that Shorecrest Alumni (former staff, too!) will join the Shorecrest High School Alumni group, to help get it off and running. Please read the FAQ and About links for more information, and then take a moment to join under the Sign Up! link. More information about the 50th Birthday Party will be sent later to those who sign up, but Save The Date now!
