No one is retiring this year!

Luckily for Shorecrest, no SC staff members have announced their retirement as of June 2014!

However, we note the recent passing of longtime former SC choir teacher Neil Lieurance. A well-attended memorial service was held in the new Shorecrest Commons in March, and included a choir consisting of many of his former student- and adult-choir members. These three Shorecrest staff members are retiring at the end of the 2012-2013 school year:

- Sherron Grimsby, Special Ed. paraprofessional
- Lila Ingebrigtsen, cook
- Mary Peters, French teacher

We wish them the best in their well-deserved retirement!

These three Shorecrest staff members are retiring at the end of the 2011-12 school year:

- Rocky Fridell, head of Shorecrest maintenance
- Barry Majorowicz, English teacher and tennis coach
- Jane Rogers, Shorecrest Preschool teacher (Shorecrest Preschool is is run for Shorecrest students to learn about child development)

We wish them the best in their retirement - they will be missed!

The newly-formed Shorecrest High School Alumni group had a table at Shorecrest's 50th Anniversary celebration to take signups and give information about the group.
